Welcome to the home of Leicester University Students' Union Medical Association. Or LUSUMA for short!

As a large association with a membership of current students exceeding one thousand and an even larger postgraduate membership LUSUMA is always willing to work with sponsors whom we feel we can form a relationship that will benefit both our students and our sponsors.

The benefits we can bring our sponsors are increased exposure and interest from a very active student body. Markets that appeal to our members cover both the traditional student orientated businesses as well as specialist markets appealing to professional healthcare workers. Examples of the wide range of opportunities can include venue hosting all the way through to direct sponsorship of Sports Clubs, Societies and providing promotional offers.

Our aim is to provide our members with a highly rewarding social life whilst at University. This can include exposure to companies that can provide beneficial products & services both whilst a student and as a qualified healthcare professional. Examples of delivering these rewards can range from: Discounts at Bars & Restaurants whilst students to increased awareness of the professional protection medical unions can provide them once qualified.
