Description

Paeds Soc is a registered society of the University of Leicester; our members are medical students from all years of Leicester Medical School who have an interest in Paediatric Medicine.

We will try to organise fun and interesting Lectures / Events which address topics and aspects relevant to paediatrics.

We aim to be a society that can give you experience and knowledge in areas that we feel are under addressed at the medical school.

Here are just some of the things we are planning for the future

-Early Childhood Development
-Working abroad in Paediatrics
-Assessment of the Critically Ill Child.
-Paediatric Oncology and its Management.
-Paediatric Orthopaedics.
-Electives in Paediatrics.
-Adolescent Health.

We would like to be a society that everyone is involved in. So if there is anyone with great ideas or have specific requests on topics they want addressed then thats great, we're happy to try and accommodate that!!

If that sounds like your thing, join up! It's pretty cheap, only £3 for all members!!!

or if you just want to come to the lecture then its £1 for lecture food !
