Mission Statement

To promote the playing of both recreational and competitive hockey for all abilities

Description

If you are in any way interested in playing hockey this year, you are very welcome to join us at Medics mixed hockey training every Sunday from 12-2pm at the Manor Road Astroturf pitch (5 minute walk from halls). Girls and boys are both welcome.

Medics hockey is a combination of good fun, lots of laughs and great socials. It is also a great way to meet other medics from your own year and different years.

There is a large range of abilities; from people who have never picked up a stick before to people who play every week; so EVERYONE is welcome to come along. For the better players we play matches in Leicester and at other universities throughout the year.

The highlight of our year is the NAMS hockey tournament! It is a great weekend of hockey and lash. It will be the best weekend of your year!

Don't worry if you don't have the right kit, we can provide some equipment for you if you need it.
